On Monday, Dec. 30, Tulsa Golden Hurricane defensive end Owen Ostroski announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) that he would be entering the transfer portal in January. Citing unforeseen circumstances, Ostroski outlined that he will be a graduate transfer when the portal opens.
Ostroski, a survivor of kidney cancer after being diagnosed with the disease when he was younger, had career highs in total tackles (35), solo tackles (14), and assisted tackles (21). The Golden Hurricane, however, had a difficult campaign this year, finishing the regular season with a 3-9 record and tied for 13th in the AAC.
