“I see this pressure coming, and so I have to wait patiently. I have to bluff them, act like I’mma block him, and then I leak out. Then, I have to get in phase with my blockers. Then, from there, my blockers did their job, and that’s a touchdown.”

Henderson has been consistent in production since arriving at the Buckeyes as a freshman in 2021. In the 2024 season, he was one of the most explosive offensive weapons in college football. The running back averaged 7.1 yards per carry and topped 1,000 yards in less than 150 carries.

Preparing to take his talents to the NFL, Henderson is viewed as one of the premier running backs in the 2025 class. According to CSN’s latest 3-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, he is projected to be selected at No. 81 by the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, after an impressive NFL Combine performance, his draft stock got a boost. He had a 38.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-8 broad jump and ran a 4.43 in the 40.
