WATCH: Travis Hunter Ridiculously Turns Defense Into Offense Showing Off Two-Way Dominance

Colorado Buffaloes WR/CB Travis Hunter shows off unique dual-threat skills ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Earlier in the week, a video emerged online of Colorado Buffaloes star dual-threat player Travis Hunter showing off his wide receiver and cornerback skills in the same play.

The video features Hunter playing defense against an opposing wide receiver. However, the pass was underthrown by the quarterback. After seeing this, Hunter can be seen adjusting his body and going up to make an unreal and amazing catch.

    Travis Hunter’s Amazing Catch

Hunter made the phenomenal jumping catch while playing defense in the clip, something that has the football world talking.

The popular Buffaloes fan account ‘@SkoBuffsGoBuffs’ posted the video on X (formerly known as Twitter) and provided their own analysis of the play.

“This play of Travis Hunter turning into a WR while playing CB is insane 🔥 Generational Talent and the Potential First Pick of the 2025 NFL Draft 👀 #SkoBuffs,” the post was captioned.

This video is just one of the countless examples of Hunter doing things on a football field that the majority of others frankly cannot do.

Hunter’s elite defensive abilities in coverage, mixed with his great instincts, ball handling, and receiving skills, make him a truly unique prospect who could play effective football on both sides of the ball in the NFL.

Travis Hunter’s College Sports Network 2025 NFL Draft Projection

Hunter is widely expected to be one of the first names called in the upcoming NFL Draft in April. In College Sports Network’s latest 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft completed by CSN NFL Draft Analyst Will Helms, Hunter was selected No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns.

As Helms notes regarding Hunter, “Don’t overthink this, Cleveland. The Browns need help in the secondary and at receiver and take the only guy this century who could help at both positions.

“Hunter averaged 112 snaps a game in 2024. Only four players in the country reached 105 snaps in any one game, and none went over 107.

“Hunter is a top-five receiver and a top-five corner on my board, but the appeal is that he can play both positions at a high level. If Cleveland is smart, they’ll let him play both ways to begin his NFL career.”
