5) Landon Jackson, Arkansas
One of the top edge rushers in the SEC, Landon Jackson, has at least 6.5 sacks and TFLs in the last two seasons and is looking to cement his place as one of the most exciting pass-rushing prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
With a cultured pass rush skill and a physical frame at 6’5” and 273 pounds, the Arkansas Razorbacks pass rusher will be looking to put up some highlight-worthy plays that could see him land as a first-round pick.
4) Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss
Princely Umanmielen is a flexible, explosive edge rusher who displays the technique and cultivated pass rush resume to be drafted on Day 2.
At 6’4” and 262 pounds, the Ole Miss pass rusher bends the edge like a player 20 pounds lighter, while his eruptive burst off the line of scrimmage sees him automatically overwhelm offensive linemen.
3) Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
After registering 10 sacks in 2023 with the Purdue Boilermakers, Nic Scourton moved to College Station as one of the most productive edge rushers in the nation.
However, he did not replicate that elite production at Texas A&M. Nevertheless, Scourton possesses some of the most nuanced and complete game tape of anyone in this class.

Standing 6’4” and weighing 280 pounds, Scourton gained some weight in 2024, which noticeably affected his burst and overall athleticism. He will be eager to demonstrate to NFL teams that this was role-specific and that he still has the translatable athleticism worthy of a first-round pick.
2) Mike Green, Marshall
Mike Green was the most productive edge rusher in college football in 2024, racking up 17 sacks and earning the CFN EDGE Defender of the Year award. The Marshall Thundering Herd pass rusher also counted for 51 total pressures, showcasing his elite burst and natural bend.
However, the knock on Green’s tape is his level of competition. That will go up a notch in Mobile, where coaches can put those concerns to bed with an impressive showing.
1) Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
At 6’6” and 290 pounds, Shemar Stewart is the epitome of a prototypical defensive lineman whose physical traits mean he has the highest ceiling of any edge rusher in the class. With serious upside, NFL teams will quickly buy into his elite athleticism and combination of unteachable power and length.

If Stewart can add in quality production in practice one-on-one drills, there is no reason that the Texas A&M rusher can’t go in the top 15 selections of the 2025 NFL Draft.
