Just like her ex-husband, Coach Deion Sanders, Pilar Sanders has always been supportive of her kids’ careers, and it’s no secret. She graced the Colorado Buffaloes Pro Day with her beauty and charm. And, of course, her sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, didn’t disappoint—they gave great performances, proving why they’re stars in the making.

Pilar Sanders Cheers on Sons Shedeur and Shilo at Pro Day
The Buffaloes’ NFL Showcase on Friday, April 4, was surely a success, and proud mom Pilar couldn’t contain her excitement. She shared an Instagram video of a poster in the team’s indoor practice facility, highlighting her sons, Shedeur and Shilo, with the caption, “Better together.”
The event featured 16 draft-eligible players, with a proud Coach Deion on the sidelines. Pilar’s eldest son, safety Shilo, skipped the bench press and vertical jump exercises, citing a sore right shoulder. But he impressed with a 4.52-second 40-yard dash.
All eyes, however, were on Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, the favorite to go to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 2 pick.
Shedeur skipped the NFL Scouting Combine and the Big 12 Pro Day in March, so NFL teams had to anxiously wait to see him in action. That moment came at Colorado’s Pro Day. It was short, productive, and, without a doubt, a successful showcase for the star quarterback.
Colorado’s QB did throw, and he was mostly crisp, especially with his deep passes. Eric Galko, the Shrine Bowl’s director of football operations, reported that the QB completed 58 of 63 passes, with three incompletions due to drops by his receivers.

Shedeur is not the projected top QB in this draft, with the University of Miami’s Cam Ward expected to go No. 1 overall. But Shedeur believes he should be. With just a few weeks left until the draft, we’ll soon find out if he’s right.
