Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is projected to be among the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. In fact, many analysts believe he’ll go top-five and be one of the first two quarterbacks selected. However, not everyone shares this high opinion.
Former New York Jets scout Daniel Kelly recently stirred controversy on X by questioning Shedeur’s NFL potential. This criticism did not sit well with Shedeur’s older brother, Deion Sanders Jr., who swiftly fired back.

Deion Sanders Jr. Responds to Ex-Scout’s Criticism of Shedeur
On Tuesday, March 4, an ex-scout stirred the pot on X by labeling Shedeur as ‘undraftable’ and claiming he lacked the ‘dominant traits’ essential for NFL success.
As a former NFL Scout, I have an undraftable free agent value on Shedeur Sanders 2024 Colorado film. That’s what his demonstrated skill set at Colorado translates to as an NFL projection. Respectfully, I don’t understand the agenda out there to push him to go first round but it’s…

Kelly’s critique zeroes in on Shedeur’s slower-than-average release time and alarming sack count, noting that the “CU” signal-caller has been the most sacked FBS quarterback over the past two seasons.
Nevertheless, Deion Jr. believes in his brother’s abilities and swiftly took to X to challenge the ex-scout’s remarks.

“Bro, just calm yo h** a** down…we get it.”
Deion Jr.’s response ignited a flurry of reactions from fans. Many rallied behind him, calling out Kelly’s criticism aimed at Shedeur.
One fan wrote, “Man, don’t even give this dude your energy bro. In all seriousness, he just looking for clout of you [sic] guys’ name and legacy that the Sanders family has built real talk. He really loves you guys. Believe me, if he saw y’all in person, he would ask for an autograph with a smile.”
Another chimed in, “Former scout for a reason. Dude has Milroe as a 2nd rounder but Sanders as undraftable.”
A third added, “Why do people keep listening to this dude @firstroundmock? He’s the biggest joke on social media, always has been always will be. This the same dude that told me Taylor Heinicke was a franchise QB.”
