The 2024 SEC football schedule will be unveiled Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and the SEC Network, but fans were given a sneak preview of what’s to come during the network’s Monday Night Football NFL product. Those games include the current SEC champion Alabama Crimson Tide, new conference newcomers Texas and Oklahoma, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Head coach Steve Sarkisian and his Longhorns will welcome Georgia to Austin on Oct. 19, 2024, as was confirmed during the Miami Dolphins vs. Tennessee Titans game. The new kid on the SEC block holds a 4-1 winning record against the Bulldogs and won the last meeting between the two in 2019.

It was also announced that fellow conference newcomer Oklahoma would take on the reigning SEC champion Crimson Tide on Nov. 23, 2024. While Alabama got the better of the Sooners the last time the two teams met — the 2018 Orange Bowl — Oklahoma holds a 3-2-1 overall record against their future conference foe.
Meanwhile, two further games on the SEC football schedule for 2024 were revealed on the Peyton and Eli “Manning Cast,” which featured the clash between the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants.
In an Oct. 12, 2024 doubleheader, the Ole Miss Rebels will travel to Death Valley to take on the LSU Tigers. After a thrilling showdown in Oxford this fall where Lane Kiffin’s team emerged with a 55-49 win in a defenseless shootout, the 112th meeting of the two teams should prove to be one of the most exciting games on the SEC schedule.
Finally, it was revealed that the Florida Gators will travel to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers the same Saturday, giving college football fans two exciting matchups that weekend. Head coach Billy Napier’s team got the better of the Vols this fall, extending their winning record over their SEC foe to 32-21.
