The next logical goal that any championship team has after they win one title is to win the next one. Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day and his team are already down that road.

Ryan Day Is Ready To Win Another Chip
When you are the head football coach at Ohio State, your goal is to win at the highest level. After winning it all this past season, Day is ready to go back-to-back.
The 45-year-old coach joined “The Triple Option,” along with his former colleague and friend Urban Meyer earlier this week, who handed the keys to the football program at Ohio State over to Day back in 2018.
Day spoke about his desire to win it all again after enjoying a tiny bit of the team’s national title win over Notre Dame in January.
“(The celebration) literally lasted until the confetti hit the ground. Now, it’s on to the next one.”
Urban Meyer: “Ryan, it’s over, no more problems!”
Ryan Day: “It literally lasted until the confetti hit the ground, now it’s on to the next one.”

This is how most great competitors operate, as they have their eyes set on winning once again.
Although this was Day’s first national title win, he has been winning ever since he became the head coach at Ohio State. Aside from the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Day has won 11+ games in each of his six seasons as head coach.
By the way, he took the Buckeyes to the national title game in that shortened 2020 season. It is fair to say that the Ohio State program is in great hands with the way Day has handled things since he took over, and earning a national title was all that he was missing.
Can the Buckeyes Truly Win Again?
The fact of the matter is that the Buckeyes can definitely win another title next season, especially if they can figure out who their starting quarterback is going to be.
Whether it is Devin Brown, Julian Sayin, or another player, somebody is going to have to replace NFL-bound Will Howard.

All-American wide receiver Jeremiah Smith will be back, as will fellow talented pass catcher Carnell Tate.
With a talented defense on the other side, this Buckeyes team should be in good shape to contend in both the Big Ten and the national picture.
