After hitting .338 last year, Justin Lebron has gotten off to a torrid start in 2025. He's eight for his first 16 with four doubles and two homers.

There was rumor that Brody Donay improved his hitting approach in the offseason. So far in 2025, that seems to be the case. Through four games, he has seven extra base hits in 14 at-bats, including four homers, tying him for the national lead.

Despite a strong 2024, there was thought that Colby Shelton actually underperformed relative to his ability. He hit 20 homers and .254 last year and I expect those numbers to improve in 2025.

Dean Curley hit .285 with 12 home runs in 221 at-bats last season. This year, he's already hit three homers in 11 at-bats as he looks like an improved hitter at the dish.

Wehiwa Aloy's batting average took a bit of a hit when he moved from Sacramento State to Arkansas in 2024, but not the power. This season, he's looking to get back closer to the .376 he hit with the Hornets in 2023. He's getting on base a ton so far in 2025, including three by way of a hit-by-pitch.

After hitting .329 in 2024, Texas' Max Belyeu is off to a spectacular start in 2025, with two homers and two doubles in four games. He's a threat to all fields and is a tough guy to strike out as well.

One of the best pure hitters in the SEC, Ike Irish plays an interesting position. He's a catcher and is improving defensively. His future is tied to what he can do at the plate though and he's already off to a hot start after hitting .319 with 14 homers last season.

Talk about somebody with light tower power. Jared Jones hit 28 homers last season for the LSU Tigers and is already off to a hot start in 2025, with a homer and three hits over the weekend.

Ethan Petry is just 17 home runs away from tying the South Carolina school record and he's off to a hot start in 2025, hitting to all fields in cold weather. As he looks to cut down on strikeouts, he could be the best hitter in the league this season.

A potential No. 1 overall pick, Jace LaViolette is an elite hitter with huge power from the left side of the dish. He has three homers already in 2025, bringing his career total to 53.
