Projected 2024 Missouri Tigers Depth Chart

The projected Missouri Tigers depth chart takes a closer look at how likely Missouri is to repeat as a top-10 team in 2024.

Missouri far exceeded expectations in 2023, ending up with a Cotton Bowl victory over Ohio State and a top-10 national ranking in the process. The Missouri Tigers depth chart projections for the 2024 season indicate a bit of a different path with some holes in the roster that need filling or someone to step up in a big way to fill.

Like most college football teams, it starts at the quarterback position. With Kirby Moore still in the mix as offensive coordinator and Brady Cook returning, the Tigers will have arguably the top returning QB-OC combination in the country, almost certainly in the SEC at the very least.

Cook demolished all expectations a year ago and has his top target in Luther Burden III, returning as well. However, the offensive line is a skeleton of what it was a season ago with graduating seniors and the NFL Draft poaching the Tigers.

Marcus Carroll is a boost to the offense, taking the mantle made famous by Cody Shrader this past season. The former Georgia State running back has been underrated his entire career with the Panthers and he’ll get a chance to show his talent on the big stage.

The biggest area of concern for Missouri is certainly on defense. The NFL Draft and exhausted eligibility have ravaged the secondary, specifically.
