Seven winning seasons in eight years with the Pittsburgh Panthers have helped head coach Pat Narduzzi secure two contract extensions during his time at the school. Here’s a look at the evolution of his contract, what he is currently getting paid, and how much is his net worth.
Pat Narduzzi’s Salary and Contract in 2023
Originally, when he was hired by Pittsburgh in 2015, Narduzzi signed a five-year contract with his starting salary at $1.82 million for his first year at the school.
After a successful 8-4 record in 2015, the Panthers gave him an extension that added two years to the contract through 2021. Narduzzi also got a nice bump in his pay as he went up to $3 million for the 2016 season.
In 2022, Narduzzi received his second extension after the team won 11 games the previous season. His new contract extension is set to keep him in Pittsburgh through the 2030 season. Once again, Narduzzi saw another pay raise, going up to $5.64 million for the 2022 season.
While it isn’t known what his salary exactly is in 2023, what we do know is that the University Times in Pittsburgh reported back in May that Narduzzi is the highest-paid employee at the school.
His breakdown is his base salary is $4.46 million and $5.87 million in total compensation.

While the net worth is unknown, Narduzzi has been hitting over $5 million last season and certainly this season. Nothing has been disclosed around any bonuses or incentives that are a part of the deal.
That could bring his net worth close to or over $6 million, but that would be purely a projection at this point.
