With the 2024 college football campaign on our doorstep, another season is already upon us. It’s one that sets the table for the feast we’re about to consume, preparing us for the top players we will witness in action these coming fall Saturdays. That’s right, it’s award watch list season, and earlier this week, the Outland Trophy watch list was released.
Which Players Are on the 2024 Outland Trophy Watch List?
The Outland Trophy has been honoring the best interior lineman in college football since 1946. Named after John H. Outland, the award is given out annually by the Football Writers Association of America. Recent winners include T’Vondre Sweat, Olusegun Oluwatimi, and Jordan Davis, but which players headline the student-athletes earmarked for success this fall?
There are 75 players on the Outland Trophy watch list for the 2024 college football season, representing the top interior linemen from both sides of the ball. This year, there are 24 offensive tackles, 19 defensive tackles, 18 guards, and 14 centers represented from 57 FBS programs. The full list is below:
