    1. Letsile Tebogo 

    Letsile Tebogo is one of the premier attractions at the 2026 Diamond League Oslo, as he is entering the men’s 200m race as the reigning Olympic 200m champion, headlining a highly anticipated generation-defining showdown against Australian teen Gout Gout.

    The Botswana athlete was last seen in action on June 5, 2026, at the Rome Diamond League, where he competed in the men’s 100m, finishing in third place with a season’s best time of 9.95 seconds, behind Noah Lyles and Emmanuel Eseme. Before this, he produced an impressive performance at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix held at the University of Botswana Stadium in Gaborone.

    He stood atop the podium after clocking 44.37 seconds in the 400m race. Now he is all set to give a tough competition to the rising Australian teenage star in Oslo.

    2. Gout Gout 

    Gout is another top athlete to watch at the 2026 Diamond League Oslo, as he is entering the event with the fastest 200m time in the world this year. He is all set to solidify his place in the track community with a stellar Diamond League senior debut. In April this year, he stunned the community at the Australian Athletics Championships by clocking an impressive 19.67 seconds, which has officially been ratified as the World Under-20 200m record.

    He also competed in the Ostrava Golden Spike, where he dominated the 200m race by clocking 20.02 seconds. With his strong hold on the race, fans are eagerly waiting for his performance in the 200m against some of the top-notch athletes, including Letsile Tebogo.
