Jeremiah Smith Reacts to His Custom Figurine

Mike Kallenberg, a talented artist, shared his latest creation on social media — a meticulously crafted custom figurine of Smith in his Buckeyes uniform, a nod to his signature pose from the first round playoff game against the Volunteers.

Smith, a highly touted recruit before joining Ohio State, reacted to the figurine, sharing a post with fire emojis. The post quickly gained traction, amassing over 219,000 views, as fans joined in celebrating the impressive artwork.

Jeremiah Smith’s College Football Showcase Is Already Pleasing Draft Experts and Scouts

In just one year, Smith has taken his ceiling to a new level. He still has three more years of eligibility left; however, some analysts find his NFL upside higher already.

NFL scouts have been keeping a close eye on the No. 1 recruit in the 2024 class. CBS Sports NFL Draft analyst Mike Renner raved about the freshman for already being the best receiver in college football.

“Smith is easily the best freshman wide receiver I’ve seen since I started scouting,” Renner said. “He’s already the best wide receiver in the country. Physically, [there are] very few comps for him already.”

Las Vegas offensive coordinator Chip Kelly praised the freshman’s work ethic akin to that of a 10-year NFL veteran.

“The one thing people don’t realize is he doesn’t act like a freshman,” Kelly said. “He acts like he’s a 10-year NFL veteran. His work ethic, he practices all the time. He doesn’t want to take a play off. They try to get him on Thursday practice [saying], ‘Hey, don’t run this route full speed on the back side because we’re not throwing it to you.’ He’s like, ‘No, I have to get better.'”
