Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has been the most reliable wide receiver in Washington for the past six seasons, since being drafted by the team in the third-round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Since entering the NFL, McLaurin has 460 receptions for 6,379 receiving yards, and 38 touchdowns. He’s had five-straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
Prior to the 2025 season, McLaurin held out from the team in lieu of wanting a new contract. It worked out for him, as he was rewarded with a three-year, $96 million contract extension on August 26.

Looking to have another productive season with Washington, McLaurin suffered an early setback in the season, with an injury that has kept him sidelined for half the season.

Just as things looked to be solid for the Commanders, with getting quarterback Jayden Daniels back from injury this week, they will be without McLaurin against the Seattle Seahawks, as he reinjured his quad in Monday night’s game.

For McLaurin fantasy owners, frustration continues. After signing his contact extension, many assumed McLaurin would have another productive season. However, injuries have gotten in the way, and McLaurin will be out of action again, which means he will be sent back to the bench in fantasy.
It’s too early to drop McLaurin now, but if he has another injury, owners could look to move on from him for the remainder of the season.
