Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings are struggling at the moment. The Vikings are 4-7. Justin Jefferson trade rumors have been circulating and numerous sources report about his desire to leave Minnesota. He has been the only bright spot for the Vikings this season.
Many consider this to be Jefferson’s prime, while others believe that his prime was wasted with the Minnesota Vikings. One of the people with that opinion is Stephen A. Smith.
“I wouldn’t blame Justin Jefferson if he asked to be traded. I’m disgusted with the Minnesota Vikings. And I have been very very reluctant to say that,” Smith said.
“The general manager of the Minnesota Vikings, listen I am apologetic. Brothers in executive positions, I root for them because we don’t see that too often. So I’m very very happy. And I am rooting for the brother. But him and Kevin O’Connell made a joint decision, and it is calculated,” he continued.
“And I understand why because Sam Darnold was a free agent. He was on a $10 million 1-year deal. You are looking to move on because this brother played so well for the most part last year that he was gonna position to at least triple his salary. That’s exactly what he did,” Stephen A. Smith said.

Fans React to Stephen A. Smith’s Analysis on Justin Jefferson
Fans agreed with Smith’s opinion when he called out the Minnesota Vikings for wasting Justin Jefferson’s prime years.
“Minnesota first mistake was initially using the 10th overall pick on a mid-level QB JJ Mid McCarthy. They should have drafted oline at that spot and rode it out with Sam Darnold for one year prove it deal which he proved it. At minimum should have resigned him,” one fan said.
“Jameis Winston has 1 less receiving TD than JJ. The sh*t the front office did is criminal,” another commented.
“Justin is not making the Hall of Fame with JJ McCarthy’s his QB Learn ball,” another fan replied.
“Josh Allen and JJ primes being wasted,” another voiced his opinion.
