Should I Start Saquon Barkley Or Josh Jacobs In Week 10? Latest Injury Update and Fantasy Outlok Ahead of MNF Matchup

Week 10 of the 2025-2026 NFL season concludes with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. It will be a battle between the NFC North and NFC East’s first place teams.

Tonight’s game features two of the best running backs in the NFL as Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs take the field. Let’s take a look at their fantasy projections and who the better start would be.

    Saquon Barkley Injury Update

Saquon Barkley suffered a minor groin injury in Week 8. Luckily for him, the team had a bye the following week, which allowed for another week of rest to recover from the injury.

While there was never much doubt of him missing the game, he wasn’t listed on the team’s final injury report, confirming that he will play in tonight’s game. The team also removed wide receiver A.J. Brown off the injury report as well.

    Josh Jacobs Fantasy Outlook

Entering tonight’s game, Josh Jacobs ranks second in rushing touchdowns with 10 and is 18th in rushing yards with 534. He also has 23 catches for 204 yards this season. Jacobs is one of the most consistent backs in the NFL, having scored a touchdown in the last five games.

His and Barkley’s numbers are a little inflated because they played one less game than most teams, having not played yet in Week 10.

    Saquon Barkley Fantasy Outlook

Prior to tonight’s game, Saquon Barkley has the 19th most rushing yards (519), and is tied for the 20th most rushing touchdowns (4.) He currently averages 4.1 yards per carry.

In the receiving game, Barkley has 24 catches for 159 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Against the New York Giants two weeks ago before the Eagles; bye, Barkley had the biggest game of the season, rushing for 150 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the game.

Should I Start Saquon Barkley or Josh Jacobs in Week 10?

Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs are two the best and most productive running backs in the NFL. With Jacobs having four more total touchdowns and scoring at a more frequent rate than Barkley, Jacobs might be the the better start with the chance that he scores or has another multi-touchdown game.
