Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are both wide receivers for the Green Bay Packers. However, they have not had equal availability this season. Doubs has been a big part of the Packers’ offense this season, whereas Watson has been out with a knee injury for most of the year. However, he is confirmed to be making his return on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Here is a look at which one is a better fantasy option on Sunday.

Romeo Doubs Fantasy Outlook
With Christian Watson out since early in the season, Romeo Doubs has gotten more action in the Packers’ offense. He has been consistent, registering at least 40 receiving yards in all but two games early in the year. In total, he has 27 receptions on 42 targets for 350 yards and four TDs.
Doubs is a consistent player who lacks big-play upside. He is often relied on for third-down plays and in red zone situations. He has also maintained a solid 21% target share this season. However, that could decrease with Christian Watson returning.
Christian Watson Fantasy Outlook
Christian Watson is known for making big plays, but it remains to be seen after coming back from injury. In his only game this season, he made four receptions on four targets for 85 yards. That is more yardage than Doubs has put up in a single game this season. However, there is no doubt that he poses a risk to fantasy owners because of his health and how he will look upon returning.
Verdict
There is no perfect answer for who you should start between Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. It depends on what kind of situation you find yourself in. Doubs is the safer and more consistently reliable receiver. He will get a steady number of snaps and targets. His numbers will be solid but unremarkable.
Conversely, Watson has big playability that could result in him putting up huge fantasy numbers. However, it is also unclear how good he will look after returning from injury and how much the coaching staff will use him. So, if you are willing to take a risk, Watson is a good option.
