Rhamondre Stevenson Injury Update: What Fantasy Owners Need to Know About Cardinals WR Status Ahead of Week 11

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is in his fifth season as a New England Patriot. Prior to the 2024 season, Stevenson and the team inked a four-year, $36 million contract extension.

While Stevenson is the lead back in New England, he’s struggled the last two seasons, failing to rush for more than four yards a carry. He was even benched at one point last season due to fumbling issues.

Looking to have a bounce back season, Stevenson has just 279 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in eight games played this season. He’s also been out recently with an injury.

    What Happened to Rhamondre Stevenson?

In the New England Patriots’ Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns, Rhamondre Stevenson suffered a toe injury. He left the game, and missed the past two games as a result of his injury.

Will Rhamondre Stevenson Play in Week 11?

It’s too early in the week to tell whether or not Rhamondre Stevenson will play tomorrow night against the New York Jets. Stevenson popped on the injury report this week as a limited participant for the first time in the last few weeks.

However, ESPN’s Dan Graziano recently reported today that it seems as if a Week 12 return for Stevenson is more likely.

    Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Outlook

With the emergence of rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson and while being injured and not as productive as of recently, Rhamondre Stevenson’s fantasy value seems to be trending downwards.

Dating back to last season, Stevenson has rushed for 1,080 yards, 10 touchdowns, and has averaged just 3.7 yards per carry. He seems as if he is no longer a viable RB1 option, and may be viewed as a RB2 or flex option.

Fantasy Replacements For Rhamondre Stevenson This Week

There is a chance that Rhamondre Stevenson is out for tomorrow night’s game, and you may want to look for a quick replacement in case he is out. Whoever you have on your bench that is a running back, fill him in for Stevenson before taking a look at the waiver wire.

If you must hit the waiver wire, some decent options include Sean Tucker, Tyler Allgeier, and RJ Harvey.
