IN PICS: Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Gives Sneak Peek Into Personal Life As Kids Enjoy Snowy Winter Day

Patrick Mahomes continues to push through one of the most demanding stretches of his career. The Kansas City Chiefs sit at 6–6, a position few expected after years of dominance. Mahomes has fought to keep the offense steady, but the unit has been inconsistent, and the team’s margin for error has vanished.

Every game now feels like a must-win as Kansas City tries to avoid missing the postseason for the first time in the Mahomes era. The season has been a grind for Mahomes. For a franchise that built its identity on control and composure, the 2025 season has looked unusually unsettled.

Away from the field, life appears much warmer for the Mahomes family. Brittany Mahomes shared a set of winter photos on Instagram that offered a close look at their kids enjoying the snow. Each child was captured lying on the ground, bundled up, making snow angels with the same playful pose.

The images highlighted a calm, wholesome moment at a time when the football world feels anything but calm around Kansas City. The photos show the kids laughing as they sweep their arms through the fresh snow, creating a perfect angel outline.

The contrast between the peaceful family scenes and the Chiefs’ reality is hard to ignore. Kansas City’s playoff chances are no longer guaranteed.

A 6–6 record has brought real doubt about their ability to secure a postseason berth, and many around the league believe this could signal the end of the Chiefs’ dynasty that has ruled football for years. The road ahead is tight. One slip could push them out of the race entirely.

Patrick Mahomes’ Head Coach on Recent Struggles

Andy Reid addressed the team’s issues with a direct tone. He highlighted how small mistakes have swung games and stressed that penalties have been costly. He pointed to missed turnovers on defense and breakdowns during key third-down sequences on both sides of the ball.

Reid also emphasized that Kansas City must generate more pressure up front and tighten coverage behind it. He said the offense needs cleaner protection and sharper execution, especially when Mahomes drops back, and defenses collapse the pocket.

“You can’t allow quarterbacks at this level to stand back there and throw the ball with just comfortable feet. I think we know that,” Reid said. “So, you have got to make sure that you have pressure on those guys (and) when that takes place, you have got to make sure your coverage is tight. That’s what you work on, and you go through that and work on trying to get better.”

The Chiefs have little to no margin for error. Starting this Sunday, they have a tough stretch ahead with five games against the Texans, Chargers, Titans, Broncos, and Raiders. They must win it all to secure a playoff berth.
