Week 9 of the NFL season is here. While Thursday Night Football already took place, with Baltimore defeating Miami 28-6, the bulk of the games will be played on Sunday. There are set to be some exciting matchups this week, but unfortunately, not every player will be available. Here is a look at some of the biggest stars who are confirmed or likely to be inactive this week.
Inactive NFL Players in Week 9
Travis Hunter
Two-way star rookie Travis Hunter will not be available for Jacksonville this week. He is dealing with a knee injury. Sadly, Hunter’s injury came after the most productive game of his young career against the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 19.
D’Andre Swift
Chicago running back D’Andre Swift will not be available for the Bears on Sunday because of a knee injury. Kyle Monangai will start in his place.
Cam Skattebo
New York Giants rookie RB Cam Skattebo was a big breakout star in the NFL this season. However, he will not be available this week after suffering a devastating season-ending ankle injury last week.

Isiah Pacheco
Kansas City RB Isiah Pacheco has been ruled out of Sunday’s game after not practicing this week. This comes after Pacheco was starting to get into a rhythm in recent weeks after a slow start to the year.
Joshua Palmer
Buffalo wide receiver Jushua Palmer will not be available for the Bills this week because of a knee injury. Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman are expected to pick up his snaps.
Nate Adkins
Denver tight end Nate Adkins is out with a knee injury. As a result, Marcedes Lewis was elevated from the practice squad.
Marvin Mims Jr.
Denver WR Marvin Mims Jr. is also out for the Broncos for a concussion. This will bump Troy Franklin up the depth chart.
Cooper Kupp
Seattle WR Cooper Kupp is not confirmed to be out. However, he is believed to be unlikely to play because of a heel injury.
Alvin Kamara
New Orleans RB Alvin Kamara is dealing with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable.
Brock Purdy
San Francisco QB Brock Purdy has been out with turf toe for several weeks. Mac Jones is expected to start, but Purdy could dress as the backup before reclaiming his starting role in Week 10.
