Even as the Miami Dolphins continue to struggle this season, star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been a bright spot in what has been yet another poor season so far. However, with the trade deadline fast approaching, trade rumors regarding Waddle have begun to pop up, and it seems that the Dolphins may be willing to part with their top wide receiver.
However, the asking price for Waddle is quite steep, as they are asking for at least a first round draft pick.

This massive asking price has raised eyebrows and has stunned several fans:
“It’s just crazy to me that people think if you go on a rebuild, you have to get rid of all of your good players. That’s nonsense. You keep the good young players and build around them.,” said one fan.
“Isnt a horrible idea for a most likely temp GM to make decisions like trading Waddle that will affect team long after temp GM is gone ? Chubb and Phillips I get but not the only legitimate WR1 on Dolphins roster,” another person added.
“Yes trade your only star receiver so smart !😭 the dolphins fan base is unbelievable, half of y’all are getting old but want to set the franchise back another 10 years so bad.,” one pointed out.
“Second is the fairest deal. Maybe even a 3rd because he’s always injured,” said another person.
“The price for Jaylen Waddle is VERY steep. Hard to see a deal happening at that price.” one person noted.

3 Potential Landing Spots for Jaylen Waddle
The big question now is, where will Jaylen Waddle go? Here are three teams that currently need a good wide receiver:
San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco is a team that has been hit hard by the injury bug, with their top wide receivers like Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings all missing a lot of games due to injury. He should be a good fit this season for the banged up Niners.
New York Giants
Reports indicated that the Giants are interested in Waddle, especially after Malik Nabers tore his ACL and losing rookie running back sensation Cam Skattebo, as they need another good offensive option for rookie Jaxson Dart.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers need another wide receiver not named DK Metcalf, and Waddle may be their answer.
