“Fire This Bum”: Fans Slam Kevin Stefanski As Browns HC Snubs Shedeur Sanders From First-Team Reps

Selected as the 144th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns this year, Shedeur Sanders’ NFL journey has not been as smooth as he would’ve hoped.

First, he was named QB3 as the Browns chose veteran Joe Flacco as their QB1 and Dillon Gabriel as QB2. Now that Gabriel has been given the spotlight as QB1, making Sanders his quarterback, fans were hoping to see the ex-Colorado star on the field soon.

However, a recent statement by Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski about Sanders not receiving any first-team reps, despite being the team’s QB2, sparked frustration among fans.

“This is why if Shedeur doesn’t start after the bye but has to start this year, it will be a bad setup. 0 1st team reps all offseason and during the season. A regular week he will only get 2 practices with the 1’s. Gabriel- set up for success Shedeur- set up for failure,” another fan added.

Stefanski called Dillon “accurate.” ……… Fire this bum, TODAY, @Browns .Obviously, Kevin’s bias and preference is getting in the way of your wins (as always),” another fan demanded action.

“He played five and half years in college. How many reps does this ‘youngster’ need?” another fan questioned.

“I haven’t seen any evidence that Stefanski wants Shedeur as part of this team. If you’re going to give Gabriel 1st team reps with Flacco, then you need to be consistent with Shedeur and Gabriel. The smell test tells me Stefanski wants nothing to do with Shedeur,” another fan wrote.

“Shedeur ran this Bullsh*t offense in college under Pat Shurmur, so he’s pretty much twiddling his thumbs at this point,” another fan added.

Shedeur Sanders Drops Cryptic Comments Amid QB Battle With Dillon Gabriel

Shedeur Sanders’ Browns journey has been challenging, as he believes he can play better than many other quarterbacks in the league. However, not getting any opportunities to take the field cannot be easy for anyone.

On Tuesday, Shedeur took to X to express his thoughts, where he said the greatest lesson he has learnt through it all is not to worry but to trust god in every situation. Even when he doesn’t know what to do, he believes god will guide him.

He shared that the reason he is able to live stress-free is because he knows god has the final say over his life, which is why he can persevere through trials.
