    C. J. Stroud Injury Update: What Fantasy Owners Need to Know About Texans QB Status Ahead of Week 13

    The Houston Texans have been without quarterback C.J. Stroud in the last three games, but have rallied and kept themselves alive for a playoff race, winning three-straight.

    After starting the season 0-3 and the Texans stand at 6-5 and have won its last three games in a row. Stroud has been out with an injury and backup quarterback Davis Mills has filled in well, throwing for 879 yards, five touchdowns, and a touchdown.

    What Happened to C. J. Stroud?

    During the Houston Texans’ Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos, C.J. Stroud left the game with a concussion. Stroud was hit by Kris Abrams-Draine and slammed his helmet off the ground when landing.

    Stroud remained in concussion protocol for the next three games and was sidelined for three games.

    Will C. J. Stroud Play Week 13? 

    Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters Friday that C.J. Stroud will play this Sunday against he Indianapolis Colts. Additionally, Stroud said he would have played last week against the Buffalo Bills had Thursday’s game been on Sunday.

    C.J. Stroud Fantasy Outlook

    C.J. Stroud has still struggled to replicate his rookie season production from two years ago. In eight gamed played this season, Stroud has thrown for 1,702 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He’s completed 65.9 percent of his passes.

    Stroud faces an Indianapolis Colts defense that is ninth in scoring defense, 23rd in total yards allowed, and 28th in passing yards allowed per game.
