Deshaun Watson continues to recover from his ruptured Achilles heel, and it’s looking more and more unlikely that he will play for the Cleveland Browns this season. As of this week, the Browns coaching staff has decided not to activate the signal-caller’s 21-day training window before he takes up a roster spot.
In the meantime, Watson seems to be enjoying the holiday season, and especially he seems to be enjoying the way in which his wife, Jilly Anais Watson, is enjoying the arrival of winter.
Anais Watson’s latest post showed her posing in a snowy landscape. In the caption, she wrote:

In the comment section, Watson wrote:

Watson and Anais met in 2019, when the quarterback was playing for the Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson messaged her through Instagram, and they initially became friends, officially meeting at a yoga session. They officially tied the knot in July of this year.
Did The Cleveland Browns Activate Deshaun Watson’s Training Window?
With the Cleveland Browns struggling this season, Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett having been traded, Dillon Gabriel not panning out as a reliable starter, and the coaching staff unwilling to give Shedeur Sanders a chance, fans hoped that Deshaun Watson could be back at practice this week.

When asked about this possibility this Monday, coach Kevin Stefanski immediately said:
“I’m not sure if that’s what we’re doing.”
So it seems that Deshaun Watson will not likely play this year. Once they decide to activate the training window for Watson, the Browns will likely want to use up the 21 days of it. Supposing they activate the training window next week, he could be ready between Week 14 and Week 15. At that time, one would have to wonder if it would even be worth it to risk him re-injuring himself.
