After being absent since injuring himself on Week 4, Bucky Irving is finally back on the field on Wednesday as he practiced for the first time in over a month with his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Irving was spotted practicing and giving hope that he would be back from his long hiatus due to injury.

As the NFL’s Ian Rapaport had noted, Irving has not played since September, which was when he suffered a foot injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. As he was resting his injured foot up, it was soon discovered that he also has a shoulder injury, which was actually considered more serious than the one on his foot.
Irving had been out for a long time but was not placed on the injured reserve. The lack of updates on his status frustrated fans, with many questioning if his season was already over. His return to practice is a positive development, which proves that his condition is improving.
Despite this, it should be noted that the team will still have to evaluate if he is actually good to go. This means that it is still not sure that Irving would be able to play for the Bucs on Week 11, as he still needs to be medically cleared to play and that the team is certain that he could play at 100%.
Still, even if he is not able to return by Week 11, this is still a positive sign for his return, as this confirms that he is almost fully recovered.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Still Plagued With Injuries Despite Bucky Irving Returning To Practice
While fans are celebrating Irving’s possible return, it should also be noted that the Bucs are still pretty banged up at the moment and will be missing some of their best offensive pieces on Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills. These include wide receivers Chris Godwin (fibula) and Mike Evans (broken clavicle).
During Wednesday’s practice, linebacker Haason Reddick did not participate, as he was out with an injured ankle and an injured knee. Godwin also did not practice, but guard Ben Bredson, who went out of last Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury, managed to practice.
