The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and unsurprisingly, the running back Breece Hall of the New York Jets has appeared in trade rumors. Hall has had a strong season despite the Jets’ struggles, breaking out in the Jets’ first win of the season on Sunday with 18 carries for 133 yards and two TDs.
On Monday, insider Ian Rapoport appeared on NFL GameDay Kickoff, speaking about the Breece Hall trade rumors.
“It remains unclear as of right now whether or not anyone is going to be able to pry Breece Hall from the New York Jets, but no doubt, he is the subject of trade calls,” Ian Rapoport said. “One of the better backs in the NFL broke out on Sunday in the Jets’ first win. He has been a guy teams have been calling about.
“Now, he’s gonna be a free agent next year, and he could figure into the Jets’ plans. Other teams would also like him to figure into their plans. It would take a significant offer to pry Breece Hall away from the Jets, but stay tuned about a week to go.”

The Latest Breece Hall Can Be Traded Is November 4th
According to Ian Rappoport, the New York Jets have not received an offer for Breece Hall that has interested them. If teams are truly in trading for the star running back, they will need to improve their offers soon. The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. ET.
Often, trade deadline deals do not get made in the days ahead of the deadline. Many general managers wait until the day of the deadline to make their final deals. Part of the reason for this is that there is another week of games that will wrap up on Monday night. That allows some of the teams that are on the fence about whether to buy or sell to watch their team play another game.
Regardless, if a team can pry Breece Hall away from the New York Jets, it would be a significant addition for them. Hall has performed well for the Jets this season despite playing in a poor offense. If he joins a stronger team, he could emerge as a top RB in the NFL.
