LOOK: Bears’ Colston Loveland Shares Sweet Moment With Girlfriend Angelique

Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland made his relationship Instagram official on Monday. He was rumored to be in a relationship for a while, but he never publicly acknowledged it.

Loveland posted a picture with his girlfriend, Angelique, on his Instagram story. They met during their time at the University of Michigan. Angelique graduated in 2025 and has built a good social media presence.

The Bears TE’s picture made their relationship official, and fans, especially those who believed in the rumors, got something to celebrate. Loveland also wrote a sweet note on his IG story: “Had the best date,” with a heart emoji.

Loveland played for the Michigan Wolverines from 2022 to 2024 and was a part of the 2023 national championship-winning team. He was taken 10th in the 2025 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears.

He started his rookie season as the backup behind Cole Kmet. Loveland started 11 of 16 games in his rookie season and recorded 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

Loveland also made his first playoff appearance. He played two games, starting one, and had 12 receptions for 193 yards. According to Pro Football Focus, Loveland was the highest-graded rookie player and second-highest-graded tight end of the 2025 season.

Loveland will likely get a bigger role with the Bears next season. He had some momentum last season, and if he improves his game during the offseason, Ben Johnson will be inclined to give him that chance.

Colston Loveland is Ready for a Bigger Role

Even though Colston Loveland struggled in the early stretch of the season, he didn’t take long to recover and show why he was a top 10 pick in the draft. Going into the next season, Loveland is ready for a bigger role.

“I think we’ve got weapons all over,” he said. “I know we’ve got weapons all over. Obviously losing (Bills wide receiver) DJ (Moore), that hurts. Good for him, he’s in a situation now. But we’ve got (WR) Rome (Odunze), (WR) Luther Burden III, (WR) Kalif (Raymond), we’ve got guys that can go out there and make a play at any time.”

“So, whether I have to take more (of a work) load or whatever. Maybe some games I take more, or they take more some games, it’s just how it goes. You play it by ear. So, the best thing to do is to always be ready.”

Loveland said that he will be ready for any challenge and will be willing to step up for his team whenever he’s asked to.
