Analyst Vows On Making Kevin Stefanski’s “Life Miserable” as Cleveland Coach Reveals Shedeur Sanders Decision Following Jets Loss

Somehow, someway, the Cleveland Browns managed to lose yet another game, this time against one of the worst offenses in the league. The New York Jets defeated the Browns 27-20 on Sunday, despite outputting only 169 total yards during the game.

Understandably, fans are starting to lose patience with the team. Even members of the press. ESPN’s Cleveland analyst, Tony Rizzo, is one of those who seems to have lost all patience with the state of the franchise, stating that he will no longer be a voice of support for the Browns, but the exact opposite

“I want everybody gone and if you don’t do it, I’m going to make it my business to make your life miserable,”

It’s no surprise, considering the Browns couldn’t beat a team whose quarterback (Justin Fields) threw for only 54 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. The Jets’ RB1, Breece Hall, only ran for 83 yards.

What surprises fans the most is that the Browns coaching staff seems to be sticking to Dillon Gabriel as their starting quarterback. Gabriel’s performance was as appalling as the defense’s. While he had two touchdown passes, he recorded only 167 passing yards and had a completion percentage of 53%.

What did Kevin Stefanski say about Dillon Gabriel?

In the aftermath of Sunday’s defeat, coach Kevin Stefanski was asked whether he would stick with Dillon Gabriel or presumably switch to backup Shedeur Sanders. The coach was adamant that they would give Gabriel more chances:

“Yeah, we’re going to stick with Dillon,” Stefanski said. “Obviously, this is a young player that you’re always trying to get one game better and those type of things, but we have to play better as an offense, we have to coach better, all the above.”

Gabriel became the starter after Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco lost several games. With him under center, they have only won one game, against the also embattled Miami Dolphins.

Fans are starting to wonder why the Browns won’t give a player of Sanders’s caliber a chance to start in the NFL. Some would argue, he was a better quarterback than Gabriel at the college level.
