The A.J. Brown saga is finally coming to an end as the wide receiver joins the New England Patriots after being traded by the Philadelphia Eagles. But as is the case with Brown, he’s never truly away from the spotlight.
The latest is that Brown made it to the Philadelphia Eagles training facility to bid a final farewell to the place he called home for a few years, and he didn’t leave without leaving a small note.
“He was there (in Philadelphia) to pick up some stuff at the facility and say his goodbyes,” Mike Garafolo said.
“On the walls there they have pictures of pro ball players and A.J. signed his…and from what I was told he then added ‘the best to ever play here. Always open.'”
The alleged message from A.J. Brown may have been a cheeky jibe at the Eagles for letting him go, or perhaps just a bit of fun and true belief in his own ability, but either way, it makes for a final dramatic end for one of the NFL’s top players.
Did A.J. Brown Have A Rift With Haason Reddick?
In the same video, Mike Garafolo also shuts down the conspiracy theory that a rift between A.J. Brown and Haason Reddick led to the former’s trade.
“I talked to Big Dom (Domenico DiSandro) about this…and he was adamant that that is not true.
“He could not have been more adamant,” Garafolo continued. “That story is complete and utter bupkes.”
As he begins his new chapter, A.J. Brown would undoubtedly want to leave all the chatter about the Eagles behind and focus on life with the New England Patriots.
