Pat McAfee had some issues at the NFL Combine surrounding whether he could or couldn’t film his show “The Pat McAfee Show” from inside Lucas Oil Stadium.
While the NFL had invited McAfee to broadcast his daily show live from the Combine, he said that “middle management” made it difficult for him to find a place to set up himself and his crew.

Pat McAfee To Host ‘Draft Spectacular’ From Indianapolis
McAfee seems to be fed up, as he now plans to steer a future show away from being onsite at an NFL event.
McAfee took to his show to express his annoyance with the NFL’s middle management, saying, “They’re making it easy. It’s awesome. Those people matter for sure. You guys are really good at your jobs!”
We were invited by the NFL to the combine..
Just had to make sure there was enough space in the stadium 😂😂

He capped off his rant by saying that he will be hosting his seventh annual “Draft Spectacular” show from his studio rather than at a location in Green Bay to avoid dealing with the NFL.
McAfee’s draft spectacular last year was one of the best draft shows on TV, as he hosted Bill Belichick live in Detroit, Mich. But it would appear in response to the NFL’s handling of his show at the Combine, he won’t be traveling this year.
McAfee’s draft show should still be a hit, but it will be a bummer to many college football and NFL fans not to have McAfee live at the draft.
It’s clear that McAfee will not take the time out of his day to deal with the NFL’s so-called “middle management,” and now the draft coverage in Green Bay will suffer because of it.
