Landon Duckworth, a quarterback from Jackson High School in Alabama, has quickly become a sought-after recruit in the 2026 class. After graduating from South Carolina and leading his team to a state title, the attention from top college programs only grew.
His impressive performance set has him in the spotlight, and he’s now eyeing schools like Ole Miss, Florida State, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Landon Duckworth The Rising Star in the Quarterback Recruitment Class
In the summer of 2024, Landon Duckworth backed off his commitment to South Carolina. That decision set the stage for a monumental junior season.
Duckworth led Jackson High School to an Alabama 4A state championship, throwing for 325 yards and five touchdowns in the final game of the season.
His overall stats for the year were remarkable: 3,109 passing yards, 34 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, with an additional 631 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. He finished his junior year with a total of over 6,400 yards and 80 touchdowns across three seasons.
His performance caught the attention of multiple programs, and his stock as one of the top quarterbacks in the country rose. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Duckworth was ranked No. 130 overall, No. 11 among quarterbacks, and No. 8 in Alabama.
His mix of arm strength, mobility, and ability to lead in big moments has made him a top target for college coaches nationwide.
