Jared Verse Reacts Emotionally to Throwback FSU Video With Jordan Travis: ‘Miss These Times’

Yesterday, Jared Verse, now a standout linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, took a trip down memory lane. The former Seminole star shared a heartfelt post on X quoting a 2023 practice clip in which he and quarterback Jordan Travis shared a playful moment on the field.

In the video, Travis tackles Verse and throws in a mock punch to the gut, a light-hearted exchange that captured the brotherhood of that FSU team. His caption on the clip was simple but came with heavy nostalgia: “Miss these times. “With love emoji right after the text.

Jared Verse Reflects on FSU Memories After Throwback Video With Jordan Travis Goes Viral

Travis, the quarterback who led FSU to new heights that year, takes down Verse, a dominant defensive end, in a playful tackle before adding a fake punch for good measure. The moment is all smiles, a rare glimpse of the fun and connection these two had while grinding through a challenging season. That clip holds much meaning for Verse, named a two-time All-American at FSU.

Tracing Verse’s journey back since those FSU days has been remarkable. After moving to Florida State from Albany in 2022, he wasted no time becoming a cornerstone of the Seminoles’ defense. His performance in 2023, alongside Travis and running back Trey Benson, helped the team secure that ACC title. The Los Angeles Rams drafted verse in 2024, where he’s already writing his name in record books.

Just this February, he was named the 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year after a standout season that included a 57-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Wild Card Round against the Minnesota Vikings. But despite his success in the pros, it’s clear that Verse still holds his time at FSU close to his heart.

Travis, however, has had a much more challenging road. The QB was named ACC Player of the Year in 2023. Later that season, he suffered a devastating leg injury against North Alabama. The injury ended his college career and played a key role in FSU’s controversial exclusion from the College Football Playoff, despite their undefeated record in the Power Five.
