One of the hottest properties in the college football transfer portal, former Oregon State wide receiver Silas Bolden appears to have narrowed down his potential landing spots. According to multiple reports, the highly talented playmaker will take official visits to four Power Five programs in the coming weeks.
Is Former Oregon State WR Silas Bolden Down to Four Teams?
Coming off the back of the most productive season of his career, Bolden has attracted attention from programs across the country after entering the transfer portal at the turn of the New Year. The former Oregon State receiver appears to have honed in a potential new home, with official visits locked into the Texas Longhorns, Arizona Wildcats, USC Trojans, and Washington Huskies.
On3.com’s Pete Nakos was the first to report the four teams Bolden will visit between now and the end of the month. The Oregon State wide receiver had been expected to visit Steve Sarkisian’s Longhorns in Austin this past weekend but instead was in Los Angeles with Lincoln Riley and the Trojans.

He’ll travel to Texas on January 13, according to 247 Sports’ Greg Biggins, with a return trip to visit USC rounding out his schedule on January 27. In between, Bolden has a January 19 visit with Arizona, moving on to the College Football National Championship runner-up Huskies the following day.
The sought-after WR’s schedule would suggest no announcement until the end of the month.
Arriving in Corvallis in 2020, Bolden had steadily established himself as one of the key parts of the Oregon State offense in recent seasons. His breakout campaign came in 2022 for the Beavers, where he earned All-Pac-12 honors for his special team abilities.
In 2023, he showed off his receiving prowess, making him a highly sought-after playmaker in the transfer portal. Bolden snagged 746 receiving yards and five touchdowns while adding two scores on the ground. He leaves Oregon State having tallied 1,278 scrimmage yards and 13 total touchdowns.
The four potential transfer portal landing spots will allow Bolden to become an even more productive pass catcher. Texas loses both Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell to the NFL Draft, with Washington also losing multiple playmakers. Arizona and USC offer the former Oregon State standout a favorable spot in an offense that has allowed receivers to shine.
