Clemson Could Land Elite Offensive Tackle
According to On3 insider Steve Wiltfong, Clemson could be the team to get the services of talented offensive tackle Adam Guthrie. In fact, Wiltfong predicts that Swinney and Co. will be able to sign the Ohio native. Guthrie is On3’s No. 7-ranked offensive tackle and could be a fantastic addition to the Clemson roster.

Guthrie stands tall at 6’7″ but is undersized in terms of his weight, currently weighing 280 pounds. However, the star from Miami Trace High School has all the potential in the world and could be molded into one of the best offensive linemen in the country, especially if he picks Clemson.
Notable Clemson Offensive Lineman in the NFL
Of course, the Tigers have a strong history of sending players at every position to the NFL. This has certainly been the case with Swinney at the helm. The offensive line position is no different, as plenty of talented players from the trenches have made their way to the league in recent years, which is why Guthrie may want to attend Clemson.
Former All-American and two-time national champion guard John Simpson was selected in the fourth round in 2020. He just ended his fifth NFL season while playing for the New York Jets.
Another former national champion and All-ACC performer, tackle Jackson Carman, was a second-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2021 and is now with the Miami Dolphins.
Current Chicago Bears guard Jordan McFadden is another former Clemson product who has spent some time playing on Sundays.

If Guthrie wants to improve his game, Clemson has a proven track record of producing NFL talent and a winning culture. This is especially true after the Tigers just won 10+ games for the 13th time in the last 14 years.
