Colorado Set to Host Star WR Transfer, But What Does No Commitment Update Under Deion Sanders Mean?

Colorado is slated to host Campbell transfer wide receiver Sincere Brown on an official visit.

Campbell Fighting Camels wide receiver Sincere Brown entered the transfer portal back in the middle of March and instantly became one of the most coveted players in the spring transfer portal window.

Brown’s career was wild, with him not playing any meaningful football until his senior season with Campbell, where he racked up over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. It’s unsurprising that Deion Sanders was all in on the transfer wideout, and Brown is now set to visit the Colorado Buffaloes.

What a Sincere Brown Commitment Would Mean For Colorado

Brown will visit multiple schools in the coming weeks, with UCLA, Cal, and Colorado visits already scheduled. It’s going to be a competitive process for Deion Sanders, who needs an influx of talent after losing players like Travis Hunter, Tory Horton, and Will Sheppard in the receiving room alone.

Coach Prime and Colorado are trending upward but can’t afford to see regression on the field next season. If they miss a bowl game, Colorado will be right back where they started when Prime first got there.

This is probably the most critical season of Sanders’ tenure, and getting a true X receiver in Campbell would be a massive signing for Colorado. If Sanders and the Buffaloes miss out on Campbell’s talents, the expansive receiver room in Boulder will be a huge question mark next season.

There’s plenty of young talent at wide receiver for Colorado, but most players are unproven, and a poor offensive line performance will put a lot of pressure on transfer quarterback Kaidon Salter.
