Several quarterbacks hit the portal on day one, including Tennessee’s Nico Iamaleava, UCF’s Dylan Rizk and Florida State. Day three winners
WINNER: Purdue
The Boilermakers got a solid commitment from UNC transfer and redshirt sophomore Ryan Browne. Some experience in the quarterback room never hurts.
LOSER: James Madison
Meanwhile, the Dukes lost a top backup in their quarterback room. The loss of Atkins, who has been a consistent force on the James Madison sideline, while not massive, could cost the Dukes a game down the line if quarterback Alonza Barnett III isn’t ready to start week one.
