Thursday night sees the Boston College Eagles face the Virginia Tech Hokies while the Georgia State Panthers and Marshall Thundering Herd tussle in a Sun Belt showdown. With plenty of betting possibilities across the two games, it might be difficult to know where to dish your dough this evening.
Never fear, after going 7-2 on player props last week, I’m back with a player prop from every midweek game this week. Make sure to check back daily for new college football player props.
Thursday Night College Football Player Props
With two games on the docket, I’ve got two player props, both at plus money as per the latest DraftKings Sportsbook odds. As with all college player props, try to get these early, as lines tend to move drastically, even with only a few bets on each prop.
Bhayshul Tuten Over 110 Rushing Yards (+175)
DraftKings Sportsbook originally had Bhayshul Tuten’s over/under at plus money for just 91.5 yards, which would have been plain stealing from the oddsmakers. Since then, it’s gone up to 110+, which still represents good money, and here’s why:
Tuten has gone over 100 yards in four of the five games since taking over as the starter, with an explosive rush in every game except Stanford. In that game, the Hokies got ahead early and Tuten just wasn’t seeded as much.
Expect Tuten to get back on track against a decent Boston College defense that hasn’t faced many run-first offenses. There’s not much value in his touchdown props, but I like the best player on the field to hit his over Thursday.
Christian Fitzpatrick Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)
Christian Fitzpatrick hasn’t found the end zone in a few weeks, but I expected that to change against one of the worst red zone defenses in the country.

Marshall is favored by 8.5, with an implied team total of nearly 30 points. It’s not hard to think that the 6’4″ receiver would be responsible for some of those points, especially at plus money.
Fitzpatrick is simply too good to be quiet in a big conference matchup.
