On Wednesday, Deion Sanders Jr., son of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, released a heartwarming message to X. Sanders created an NCAA 25 franchise with the Buffaloes to keep the season going in video game form.
The Buffaloes will unquestionably look different next season as with any college program, players enter the transfer portal or have finished their years of eligibility. In addition, there are numerous players, namely quarterback Shedeur Sanders and dual-threat receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, who will almost certainly be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Furthermore, there has been growing and intensified speculation regarding the future of Coach Prime in Colorado. Earlier in the week, it was reported and later confirmed by Prime Time himself that he and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had discussed the possibility of him becoming the newest head coach of “America’s Team.” As a result, it makes sense as to why Sanders Jr. is reminiscing about this year’s Buffaloes.

He has been heavily involved with Coach Prime, Shedeur, Hunter, and the rest of the Buffaloes roster for the majority of the past few seasons.
