During the week of the game, the line moved back down to its opening number, and it appeared that is where it will stay for kickoff. Of the tickets sold, 58% were purchased on the Dawgs, and 73% of the money is on the Georgia Bulldogs -13.5.
However, the line moved on Friday, sharply. From -13.5 to -11.5, a two-point swing in the favor of the Clemson Tigers drew some attention to potential suspensions or injuries that may come out of Georgia’s camp.
The moneyline market for Clemson vs. Georiga has been a bit more volatile. They opened with Georgia -520, were bet up to Georgia -640, and have settled back down on the Bulldogs -600.

Prediction for Clemson vs. Georgia
This is just a tall task for the Tigers on all fronts. Firstly, they’re headed to Atlanta, where = Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be rocking with the Georgia faithful. The environment will be electric and rival a playoff game.
Second, they’re squaring off against one of the most consistent and steady signal callers in all of college football. The reality is Clemson has some questions to answer on defense. The Tigers may be young on the front line but possess the size and talent to make an impact. Unfortunately, their first test is against arguably the best offensive line in college football.
The battle between Georgia’s interior offensive line and Clemson’s defensive line, led by Peter Woods and DeMonte Capehart, is shaping into an absolute war in the trenches.
Looking at some trends, the total has gone under in four of Georgia’s last six games. Since January 2022, the school has been favored by 17 points or fewer in 14 games, covering the spread in 10 of those matchups. The Bulldogs are 4-2 against the spread in their last six games against Clemson and hold an 8-0 overall record in their last eight matchups against ACC opponents.
What it will likely come down to is Klubnik’s inconsistency against his inability to rise in big moments. He laid an egg in last season’s season opener — a shocking 28-7 loss.
The Clemson defense, specifically its secondary, will do everything it can to keep this one close early, but the Bulldogs are just too much for this Tigers squad. There is a reason they are No. 1 in the country again this year, and they’re going to show us why on Saturday.
Prediction: Georgia 34, Clemson 14
