“About To Destroy This Clown”: Fans React As Clemson QB Cade Klubnik Dons Stylish All Black Outfit Ahead of South Carolina Showdown

Cade Klubnik and the Clemson Tigers play a rather meaningless encounter today against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Neither team is ranked, and in the case of South Carolina, they’re out of contention for the bowl season with their record of 4-7. Clemson is headed for a bowl season with their 6-5 record.

If anything, the game is important for the Tigers to end the season with a positive regular-season record and a clear path to bowl eligibility.

Fans were a bit put off by Cade Klubnik’s outfit ahead of the game, which seemed a bit out of place for a quarterback of a team that harbored clear College Football Playoff hopes and finished with a mediocre season.

He appeared in the morning wearing an ostentatious cowboy outfit, and fans were having none of it.

“Bro imagine if they lose and he has to wear that out💀💀,” joked one fan

“Did his regular outfit get intercepted 😆,” was another common joke

“Is he one of the henchmen killed by Eastwood in numerous westerns?,” asked someone else

“cowboy hat with no cowboy boots what a fraud loser,” claimed someone else

“m so done with this clown. Wants to be a big-shot but sucks. Clemson needs to retire the #2 due to bad ju-ju,” said a tired Clemson fan

“Performative male level 100000,” claimed another individual

South Carolina fans seemed confident in their victory.

“Is this Halloween dress up time! Cocks by 90!,” wrote a Gamecocks fan

“We’re about to destroy this clown,” wrote one fan

What are Cade Klubnik’s numbers this season?

Klubnik’s season has been, like Clemson’s overall, a disappointment. He has thrown for 2482 passing yards, with 16 touchdowns and five interceptions. His QBR is a mediocre 63.5, which ranks as 56th in the nation. Those are the worst numbers of his career as a starter at Clemson.

He also had the worst rushing numbers of his career, with 95 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 67 carries.
