Bryce Underwood found it funny that former Virginia safety Jonas Sanker drew look-a-like comparisons to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts at the combine.

Jonas Sanker, the former Virginia Cavalier, and 2025 NFL Draft prospect, got noticed at the NFL combine not only for his play during testing but also for his looks.

The Young Safety took the internet by storm, drawing major look-a-like comparisons to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Jonas Sanker Grabs the Attention of Bryce Underwood

While NFL and college football fans were the first to point out the similarities online, other athletes started to take notice as well, including new Michigan Wolverines quarterback Bryce Underwood.

In a Post on the NFL’s Instagram page where they pointed out the similarities between Sanker and Hurts, new five-star Michigan Wolverine quarterback Bryce Underwood commented, “I knew I wasn’t trippin.”

Underwood was clearly happy to learn that he wasn’t the only one that saw the similarities between Hurts and Sanker.

While Sanker gained a lot of buzz surrounding his looks at the combine, the former Cavalier also balled out during testing and solidified himself as one of the top safety prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

Jonas Sanker Balls Out at the NFL Combine

Sanker tested very well at the NFL Combine scoring a 9.52 out 10.00 on the relative athletic score scale, which uses height and weight measurements along with athletic testing scores to create a scale that can work among all positions.

Sanker’s score puts him at 51 out of 1,090 safety prospects at the NFL combine since 1985. While Sanker’s tape was previously solid, his athletic scores should help him rise of draft boards further this offseason and potentially solidify him as a Day 2 pick.
