Want to avoid wasting $1,546,000 when betting on a Falcons game? If you’re going to take advantage of the Bowling Green vs. Toledo odds, consider some of the following factors before you part with your hard-earned cash.
After getting the better of Toledo in the 2022 edition of the Battle of I-75, Bowling Green enters the game with a one-game deficit in the head-to-head record. However, chances of tying it up on Tuesday might be difficult. The Rockets come into the game as a considerable favorite and look to be on unstoppable form as they look to defend their MAC title.

After going five games in the middle of the season where they failed to cover the spread, Toledo has covered the last three games and there’s a temptation to hammer the Rockets against the spread as well as outright. Yet, the 10-point margin feels generous against a Bowling Green team that might be better than the odds suggest. The Falcons are 3-3 ATS as an underdog.
With a 12-8 record of surpassing the total points line between the two teams this season, the 52-point line is achievable. Our Bowling Green vs. Toledo prediction has the two teams coming up short, mainly based on the strength of the two defenses, but there’s just as much chance that they surpass if a shootout commences early on.

There are three college football games on Tuesday to compile your DFS team from in Week 12. If you’re new to DFS, Fanduel Superflex contests require you to select a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, and a “superflex” that can be any of the above or a tight end.
Starting off your Bowling Green vs. Toledo picks anywhere other than the Rockets’ rampant QB/RB duo would be malpractice. DeQuan Finn and Peny Boone are unstoppable fantasy football assets who are dominating the MAC. No one in the conference has more points than Finn’s 217.86, and Boone comes in second with 198.4 points.
Affording them both might be tough, but if you can round out your DFS roster with some low-value steals, their presence immediately gives you a good chance of a successful Tuesday slate. You might also consider filling your other RB spot from this game, with Bowling Green’s Terion Stewart as another leading light for fantasy purposes.
That said, Ta’ron Keith is coming off a monster game against Kent State. The running back leads the Falcons in receiving yards and targets too. From a pass-catching perspective, Jerjuan Newton reminds a “must start” despite Junior Vandeross III’s two-touchdown performance last week. Meanwhile, Harold Fannin Jr. is that rare thing: a TE with legit superflex value.
Prediction for Bowling Green vs. Toledo
Okay, so we’ve furnished you with the Bowling Green vs. Toledo odds and some DFS picks. Now, it’s time to close this thing out with our prediction. Can the Falcons bolster their chances of claiming the MAC East crown with an upset win on Tuesday night? Or will the Rockets continue their upward trajectory as one of the best teams in college football in the 2023 season?
Bowling Green has been subjected to some landslide defeats in the MAC this season, but Scott Loeffler’s team are peaking at just the right time. They’ve won four games on the bounce, albeit against teams that don’t feature at the sharp end of the MAC standings. Two of those victories featured 20+ point win margins, as offense and defense clicked perfectly.
The Bowling Green defense will need to be at the top of their game against an electric Toledo offense, but they’ve got some talented pieces who can cause the Rockets difficulty. DBs Jalen Huskey and Davon Ferguson are impactful in coverage and against the run, while Darren Anders and Cashius Howell are disruptive in the backfield.

As a result, the Falcons have secured the most interceptions in the MAC this year, despite facing the second fewest pass attempts. Does that mean they’ve been porous against the run? No, it does not. Bowling Green ranks third in the MAC for yards per carry and touchdowns allowed this season. The defense may ensure this game doesn’t get away from them.
The Bowling Green offense will have to hold up their end of the bargain too, which is where the game swings in Toledo’s favor. Falcons RBs Stewart and Keith can be a handful for opposition defenses, but Toledo’s linebacker duo of Dallas Gant and Daniel Bolden are ferocious at getting after the ground game.
Meanwhile, a secondary consisting of Maxen Hook and Quinyon Mitchell is as good as the Falcons will have faced this season — and yes, I’m aware they played Michigan earlier in the year. Throw in defensive lineman Judge Culpepper and the Rockets are explosive at all three levels of defense. With advantages on both sides of the ball, Toledo proves too strong for the Falcons.
Prediction: Bowling Green 21, Toledo 30
