North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick may have garnered a reputation for being grumpy, but after North Carolina’s embarrassing 42-19 loss to NC State, the six-time Super Bowl winner was acting all gentlemanly. It was a cold night in North Carolina, and he was seen helping his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, get a jacket on. It was reportedly his own coat, which he gave to his controversial girlfriend.

Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has raised a lot of eyebrows and has become tabloid fodder over his first season as a collegiate head coach. It had taken much of the attention from what he has been doing at the program, with many staff and alumni from the University of North Carolina reportedly unhappy with how much negative press their relationship has brought to the school.
Coming into his first season as head coach of North Carolina, Belichick, regarded as one of the greatest NFL coaches in history, made more headlines due to his relationship with Hudson than what is happening on the field. Speaking of that, he had been dismal in his debut season as a college coach, ending his first year with just four wins and eight losses, capping it off with that one-sided loss to NC State.
Bill Belichick Unhappy After Loss To NC State
Belichick might have been smiling with Hudson on Saturday, but during the postgame, the Tar Heels head coach was in no mood. He was asked about how the season went, but he just said this:
“Look, the season just ended a few minutes ago, okay? So now we’re going to move into the offseason. That’s what we’re going to do. I’m trying to tell you, we’ve been working on NC State. We’ve been trying to work on NC State. Week before that, we worked on Duke. Week before that, we worked on Wake Forest… I mean, that’s what we’ve been doing. Been working on the team every week. I’m sorry I don’t have a season recap for you; I don’t have one, we haven’t done it.”
