Best College Football Player Props Today: Quinton Cooley Headlines Best Bets on Wednesday Night

There's "Weekday CUSA" action to get excited for on Wednesday night, but what are some of the best college football player props available?

Although some states have clamped down on college football player props, there are two games on Wednesday night to exploit if you’re able to, as the Liberty Flames take on the Kennesaw State Owls, and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in “Weekday CUSA” action. Below are our best college football player props from those games.

    Wednesday College Football Player Props

Quinton Cooley Over 120 Rushing Yards (+115)

Quinton Cooley was an unstoppable force for Liberty last fall, leading CUSA with 221 carries for 1,401 yards and 16 touchdowns. At 5’9″, 213 pounds, he’s your archetypal bowling ball out of the backfield, utilizing his power and frame to smash through defensive lines at will. However, he also has the burst, speed, agility, and vision to conjure up finesse plays.

The Flames offense has yet to catch fire in the same explosive manner as last year, with Cooley handling the rock less than 20 times in his first four outings. Yet, in the overtime win over the FIU Panthers last time out, head coach Jamey Chadwell reverted to the 2023 plan of putting the ball in his bell cow back’s hands and was rewarded with 174 rushing yards and two scores.

Despite his relative under-usage, that was Cooley’s fourth 100+ rushing-yard game in 2024. Now, he gets introduced to a Kennesaw State defense that allows 4.58 yards per carry, 169.3 yards per game and has given up 15 rushing touchdowns in six games.

Granted, they held Middle Tennessee somewhat last week, but Liberty is a different proposition altogether. I’d expect Cooley to have a similar impact on the Owls defense as Jacksonville State Gamecocks’ standout Tre Stewart, who accounted for 134 yards and four touchdowns in a 63-24 win. As a result, the Liberty rusher is easily one of the top college football player props.

Holden Willis Over 66 Receiving Yards (-120)

The Middle Tennessee offense isn’t very diverse. Typically, it consists of passes to Omari Kelly and tight end Holden Willis. Accordingly, that’s the first thing I look for when searching for props in Blue Raiders’ games.

Willis has eclipsed 60 yards in six straight games this season and has had his biggest games in the most lopsided results. He put up 93 yards in a 49-point loss to the Ole Miss Rebels and went over 70 yards against both the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The Blue Raiders are 21-point underdogs to Jacksonville State, meaning Willis should get plenty of targets.
