If your state allows betting on individual college football player stats, there are plenty of opportunities to make money, as the markets there aren’t as accurate, and there are numbers bettors can exploit. College Football Network has you covered with a prop to target from every game.
With two games on Tuesday as part of a nine-game weeknight slate in Week 9, the action gets started early, and we have props from early-week Conference USA action. Here are our best college football player props.
Tuesday College Football Player Props
Skyler Locklear u215.5 Passing Yards
UTEP got its first win of the 2024 season last week behind a strong running game and some timely passing from quarterback Skyler Locklear. That’s the way the Miners want to operate. They’ll want to rotate running backs, use Locklear’s legs near the end zone, and throw primarily in passing situations or as they get closer to the red zone.
The Miners are not an explosive passing team, and while they’ve had a couple of games where they’ve gotten pass-happy, it’s not really in their DNA. I don’t expect Locklear to play poorly, but I think this number (on BetMGM) is a bit high, and the rest of the market agrees; I’ve seen most numbers in the 205-210 range.
DJ McKinney o49.5 Rushing Yards
I really like Sam Houston State in this one. However, I think the Bearkats rely a bit more on the run than usual, given the question mark at quarterback after Hunter Watson was injured last week and reportedly questionable to play.
I expect the Bearkats to run a bit more against a questionable defensive front. DJ McKinney has surpassed this number in four of five weeks, falling short only last week when playing from behind against Western Kentucky.

Expect the Bearkats to be in front against Florida International, meaning McKinney should get a few extra touches. This has value on DraftKings, as it’s about five yards lower than the number on BetMGM.
