Andrew Armstrong’s 4.52 and 4.53 40-Yard Times Were Personal Bests

Armstrong shaved several tenths of a second off his best time. This impressed analysts like Daniel Jeremiah, who said Armstrong is “Versatile, can play inside or outside.” Jeremiah said of Armstrong, “The goal for him was getting under 4.6 (in the 40-yard dash). So, low 4.5s is excellent at that size.”

In the Combine, he had a 10-yard split of 1.53 seconds, showcasing explosive acceleration and a vertical jump leap of 3.75 inches. His broad jump measured 10’4″. He stands 6’3″ inches tall and weighs 202 pounds.

Armstrong does not have blazing speed, which is the feeling among NFL scouts and is surprising considering some of the numbers above. To his credit, though, he eclipsed 1,000 yards and had nine catches for 128 yards in a close loss to Missouri. He had five 100-yard games in 2024.

Armstrong got the comments rolling on his own Instagram account.

“Who Can’t? Oh ight 🐍” Armstrong said.

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green dropped a comment directly below Armstrong’s post.

    “2‼️‼️” Green said.

Other comments came from former Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner.

    🔥🔥👏👏,” Turner said.

“Proud of you fam !” Arkansas linebacker Larry Worth III said.

🤞🏽🖤” Arkansas running back Ja’Quinden Jackson wrote.

“💩 popper bandz 🎸,” Arkansas defensive back Jayden Johnson said.

As an undrafted player, teams will still call on him, and Pro Football Focus says he is a sleeper pick that teams should not pass on. His numbers from 2024 alone justify his getting pro tryouts.
