The list of potential first-round prospects from the ACC is small in the 2025 NFL Draft. A certain quarterback is expected to be the number one overall selection, but bettors will be hedging on other potential contenders.
It is why bookmakers have made the over/under line so low. Let’s explore which ACC 2025 NFL Draft prospects could be first-round selections and analyze the current betting odds.

How Many ACC Players Could Be Selected in the 2025 NFL Draft First Round?
The 2025 NFL Draft could see the lowest amount of first-round picks from the ACC since 2020. Three went in the first round five years ago, and the same number is expected to repeat in this year’s showcase.
DraftKings has set the over/under for ACC players drafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft at 3.5. The under is the overwhelming favorite at -550, and the odds on the over are +570.
The under is so highly favored because three prospects are seen as first-round prospects, but outside of the front-runners, the likelihood of another ACC player creeping into the under seems unlikely.
Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward is the overwhelming favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick and is -20000 to be the first prospect to have his name called in Green Bay on Thursday evening. However, no other prospect seems 100% certain to hear their name called on opening day.
Boston College Eagles pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku will likely be a first-round selection after a 16.5 sack season in 2024, and North Carolina Tar Heels running back Omarion Hampton is also considered worthy of a Day 1 pick.
However, due to positional value and potential team needs, Hampton’s chances of being a first-round player come down to a handful of teams. It also depends on the draft positioning of elite running back Ashton Jeanty.
If the Boise State Broncos running back is drafted in the top 10, that opens the door for the Dallas Cowboys at pick No. 12 and the Denver Broncos at pick No. 20 to be potential suitors.
While it seems likely that the North Carolina prospect is a Day 1 player, it isn’t a given. He is -1600 with bookmakers, and it would be a shock for him to slip, but wilder things have happened with running backs’ draft stock.
Elsewhere, Ezeiruaku is -500 to hear his name called in the first round and is being selected in mock drafts daily.
Other than those three, the other ACC prospects are complete long shots, and bettors may turn to alternative moneylines due to the odds. The next best prospect is Florida State Seminoles cornerback Azareye’h Thomas, who is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft, but is currently +850 to be drafted in the first round.
