Sayin’s quick release stood out during the Buckeyes’ first spring practice.

“Julian Sayin was among the standouts from a no-contact practice for the Buckeyes, his quick release standing out while throwing side-by-side with his competition,” Eleven Warriors reported.

Coaches continue evaluating consistency, decision-making, and toughness, with quarterbacks coach Billy Fessler emphasizing,

“We are so far away from that point.”

Sayin, who transferred from Alabama after Nick Saban’s retirement, focuses on improvement rather than outside expectations.

“I don’t listen to the outside noise,” Sayin said. “I’m just focused on getting better every day. “You have to block out the noise. “I’m just focusing on spring practice and just getting better.”
