Cam Ward is the only quarterback to make Daniel Jeremiah’s Top 20 prospects list ahead of the NFL Draft in April.

Penn State Edge Abdul Carter Leads the Way.
Penn State’s Abdul Carter, edge rusher extraordinaire, is the number one pick, with two-way phenom Travis Hunter second, and Ashton Jeanty, Boise State Running back, is third.
Carter opted out of combine workouts recently in Indianapolis. He has retained the number one spot despite foregoing a final year of eligibility and the chance to enhance his stock further.
His last college football season at Penn State saw him rack 12 sacks.
Carter has been linked to many NFL teams, including the Patriots, with Number four on the draft board, but being ranked number one may see him go higher.
The Tennessee Titans hold the number one pick. Do they draft a quarterback and see Ward at number 10, or do they go with someone like Carter?
Jalon Walker is the other edge rusher at number seven on the list, with five spots going to defensive players and five on offense.
At 10, Carter is the last of the five offensive players, with two Tight Ends, Tyler Warren, and Colston Loveland, at five and six.
Will Campbell, an offensive tackle for LSU, is the number nine pick on the list. Defensive tackle Mason Graham occupies the fourth spot, along with Jahdae Barron, a cornerback from Texas, who is number eight.
Klatt calls Ward his number two Quarterback pick. On his show last month, Klatt called Ward a “gunslinger” and said that Shedeur Sanders was his number one quarterback, but a recent post on the NFL’s Instagram account had Sanders way down at 18, below Ward at 10.
Jeremiah’s Rankings Had Sanders Going to the Raiders.
An article published at the end of January 2025 on Silver and Black Pride, a Las Vegas Raiders community site, reported that the first Jeremiah mock draft had Ward and Sanders going to the Raiders at number six.
Jeremiah said then that, given Tom Brady’s involvement with the Raiders, he would want a player like Sanders.

“Tom Brady, now a partner in the Raiders’ ownership, would appreciate Sanders’ toughness, accuracy, and decision-making,” Jeremiah explained.
Ward would go to the New York Giants at number three.
